To submit letter to commissioner asking him to amend Budget 2015-16 where rs.10.10 crores are allocated for 'Statues & Memorials'. Instead we suggested following points where this fund can be utilised -

1) divide 10.10cr in 107 wards. So every ward will get 9.43 lacs each. This is equal to annual salary of 4 Safai Kaamgar who will be dedicated for that ward only. So Shauchalay can be maintained and swachchata can be kept.
Or
2) Buy CT scan / MRI machines for kalyan & Dombivli so that diagnosis can be made cheaply available.
Or
3) start 2 more Sarvajanik Vachnalay where students will be allowed an access to engg, medical, law, IAS, taxation etc books by mere annual subscription. Also they can sit here and study as these libraries can be run for 24 hrs.
Or
4) Instead of 1 single Mun. Hospital, numerous OPD centres can be started at various locations. This way people can get govt aided treatment near their locality.
Or
5) Invest 10.10 cr in buying technology for 'Electricity Generation from Dumping Groud Waste' and set up a state of art power generation unit here.

AAP is not against statues of Inspiring Leaders. We have all grown up admiring them and their work. We feel that if you name a MRI facility / OPD CENTRE / LIBRARY after their name, such great men will become immortal heroes in hearts of citizen.
